Project
Paul
Aptly named, project Paul gets its name from the Apostle Paul who spent a lot of time incarcerated.
In Act chapter 16:25 we read (NASB) “Now about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them;”
Why Praise God?
We are commanded to! Psalm 150 NASB lays it out very nicely for us: 150 Praise the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty expanse.
2 Praise Him for His mighty deeds;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness.
3 Praise Him with trumpet sound;
Praise Him with harp and lyre.
4 Praise Him with tambourine and dancing;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flute.
5 Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with resounding cymbals.
6 Everything that has breath shall praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord!
