What We Believe

We believe Jesus is the Son of God, the Messiah prophesied of in Isaiah 53, born of flesh, through a virgin mother here on earth. He walked with us, He talked to us, He taught, He healed, He reprimanded, He loved, He showed great Mercy and He gave his life that we could be freed from and cleansed of all sin. We believe he is the ultimate healer of the broken and through Him we have freedom. We believe Jesus was crucified for our sins, was buried in a tomb and on the third day he arose. We Believe that Jesus now sits on the right hand of our Father God. (Romans 5:6-9, Luke 2:11, Matt. 1:20-23, Act 2:32-33)

We believe that the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is the inspired, infallible Word of God, revealed to humankind. It is the final authority on all rules of faith and conduct, and supercedes conscience and reason (2 Timothy 3:15-17)

We believe that Jesus Christ our Lord, through and by His sufferings, by the shedding of His own precious blood, and by His prophesied death on the cross, made a full atonement and forgiveness for all human sin. This Sacrificial Atonement is the only ground of salvation. It is sufficient for every individual created by God of Adam’s race (Isaiah 53:5-6, 11; Mark 10:45; Luke 24:46-48; John 1:29; 3:14-17; Acts 4:10-12; Romans 3:21-26; 4:17-25; 5:6; 1 Corinthians 6:20; 2 Corinthians 5:14-21; Galatians 1:3-4; 3:13-14; Colossians 1:19-23; 1 Timothy 2:3-6; Titus 2:11-14; Hebrews 2:9; 9:11-14; 13:12; 1 Peter 1:18-21; 2:19-25; 1 John 2:1-2).

We believe that we are saved by grace through faith. Salvation is a gift from God. We receive it through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Salvation is available to all who receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to those who believe in His name, who believe he is the Messiah; He gave the right to become children of God. We become coheirs of God’s kingdom with Christ according to the hope of eternal life (John 1:12, 3:36, 5:24; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:1-10; Titus 3:5-7).

We believe the ordinance of water baptism for all who have repented and in their hearts have truly believed in Christ as Savior and Lord. In so doing, they declare to the world an outward public showing of an inward newness of life (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4).

We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit. We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and their operations in the work of the ministry for the common good of the kingdom of Christ (not for individual edification). We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit will be a shining evidence in one’s life when received. (Luke 24:29; Acts 1:4; 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31; Acts 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9 & 19:1-6).

We believe that God in His sovereignty can use any means according to His Will to heal His children (Matthew 4:23-24; 9:18-35; John 4:46-54; Acts 5:12-16; 9:32-42; 14:8-15; 2 Corinthians 12:7-10; James 5:13-16).

We believe in future judgment in which every person shall appear before God to be judged according to his or her decisions in this life and whether they have received or denied Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Titus 2:12; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; Romans 8:23).
